Jun 23,  · I hope this is the actual b-side "World In Harmony", which I believe has not had a cd release although alternate and live versions have. I once put together a playlist of a deluxe version of Then Play On with all the stuff from the time they left Blue Horizon to Peter Green's departure with the album, singles, the tracks from The Vaudeville Years, Show Biz Blues, the relevant tracks from BBC.

For all that is written about Fleetwood Mac’s blues influence, there is quite a lot of 50’s Rock n’ Roll on this CD. Which I think is a good thing, it shows that Green & Co are not too snobbish about their influences, adds a bit of musical diversity, & demonstrates a humorous side of the band (there a lot of darkness that surrounds Peter Reviews:

These recordings provide an extended look at Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac in the months before Danny Kirwan joined the band and their sound changed dramatically. Those changes are documented on the remaining ten tracks of Disc 2 with the recordings taken from their stand at The Warehouse, in New Orleans, to reviewed in the next installment.

Jan 07,  · The story of Fleetwood Mac is one of endless changes in style and occupation. They were in the s, led by Peter Green and Mick Fleetwood, one of the most original British blues bands. Later they grew out to suppliers of a polished, masterly LA sound, with which they conquered the American airwaves in the s/5(56).

The other blues recorded during the 'Man Of The World' sessions is more like up-tempo rhythm and blues, and was written by Danny Kirwan: Like It This Way - Disc 1 track 13 remained part of Fleetwood Mac's live set whilst Peter was with the band, and was the first piece that featured Danny and Peter's 'duelling' guitars.
